Windows 10, the latest OS from Microsoft introduced the new Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app development. UWP apps can run on all Windows 10 devices such as Xbox One, HoloLens, phones and much more. When we migrate to the new OS, how we will take our old windows applications ? Do you want to run the same as a legacy application, which will not able to use any of the modern app features like Contracts, start screen and so on ? Or do you want to convert the same to UWP app with minimum effort ?
Microsoft released a new tool – Desktop App COnverter, currently in preview to make this migration smooth. Desktop App Converter allows developers to bring their desktop apps to UWP.
