WINDOWS METRO STYLE APPS

Microsoft has demonstrated Windows 8  and showed how they can make use of tools to develop Metro Style Apps, which will change the way users will use the next version of Windows  .

Windows Developer   makes it easy for you to build exciting apps that let your customers focus on their important tasks.

The tools and samples included in the Windows Software Development Kit (SDK) for Metro style Apps help you build apps that are alive with activity and vibrant content.

You write Metro style apps using familiar technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets, Level 3 (CSS3), or XAML, with C++, C#, or Microsoft Visual Basic code-behind.  This way you can rapidly prototype, refine, and sell   apps.

To begin building Metro style apps for Windows, you must first download and install the Windows Developer Preview,

which includes Microsoft Visual Studio 11 Express for Windows Developer Preview and the Windows SDK for Metro style Apps.

The download also includes a free version of Microsoft Expression Blend to help you design beautiful and unique Metro style apps.
